Our intuition is amazing. It’s our personal guidance system that leads us through this game of life so we can evolve and grow into our most authentic selves and live a truly blissful, beautiful, and aligned life. 

As a young child, I grew up clairvoyant, which means that I could see energy clearly without the filters of the physical body. My childhood was filled with moments of seeing spirits, colors around people’s bodies (auras), having a deep fascination with spirituality,  just knowing things out of nowhere, experiencing vivid dreams, synesthesia, and being extremely sensitive/having empathic abilities. I didn’t realize what I was seeing and experiencing was all energy. I genuinely thought I had too wild of an imagination and was trying to talk myself out of thinking I even experienced it. As children we all experience a deep connection with our intuition and we have moments we cannot always articulate, but stop believing and trusting it because we may be surrounded by others who don’t understand it and cannot help us work with it. Navigating this powerful tool without support is tough because there isn’t a common language around it in our society yet. I encourage you to spend time in daily meditation, journal, use affirmations, or start implementing whatever spiritual practice gives you a chance to go within and unlock your intuition everyday so it can be your superpower. The episode was created for people like you to realize you weren’t alone and that we all have a common experience when it comes to our intuition showing up in our lives. In my first episode of my show on SoulSearch.tv “Your Divine Intuition” called, “Everyone is Psychic” I go deeper into this to help you see what this journey and these abilities are available for everyone. I did not know this at the time and I did not know how important using my intuition would be for me until later in my life.

Though I moved quite a bit as a child, most of my life as a child was spent growing up in the Midwest, where at the time, spirituality & intuitive abilities wasn’t widely accepted. It was something that I hid from many people in my life. It caused me to feel some shame around this, but I didn’t know that feeling like an outsider would be the doorway to ultimate healing and the expansion of my spiritual abilities. Often when we all go through something difficult, a higher part of ourselves kicks in, our spiritual guidance system or our intuitive abilities heighten to help communicate our next steps and find our way back to who we are with alignment. We don’t always pay attention to them so the key is to practice using your intuition when you can. Intuition is a muscle and if you don’t use it, you will definitely lose it. Some things  I recommend that can completely change your connection to your awareness and your intuition is to connect and heal your inner child, get grounded in your body, and call back your energy. I firmly believe that what is meant for you will find you. Because my gifts started getting out of control, I looked for support and ended up starting psychic training at 18 years old in Chicago. I was the youngest one there with people who were 15 to almost 30 years older than me. Regardless, I loved it, I was good at it, it was fun, and it started helping me make sense of life. At the time, I didn’t know why I found this training or started this journey at such a young age, but I was glad I was doing it. Throughout my time in undergrad while training at psychic school, I would find small ways to share this work with the people around me, even though I was extremely nervous to do so. I would do hour long readings for $20 just for fun in any empty college room, I would practice reading with friends who trained with me at psychic school or even do readings for people who came to the school in need of a reading. Practicing reading was something that made me realize that this stuff came easily to me and that I might have been more spiritually advanced than I knew. I just wanted to read all the time and play with my abilities whenever I got the chance. It was never draining and always exhilarating because reading was a way to give healing and receive healing. This is because when I read, I am seeing the mirroring energies inside of me that need to be healed within the other person. We naturally attract people at a vibrational level who need specific healing in similar areas of life that we are learning through, so we can have it be a mirror to heal ourselves. 

After finishing training at psychic school, I had started a teaching job working as an elementary school teacher. As a teacher I was always allowing my intuition to guide me in the classroom, as I had with most of the things in my life. I had a lot of balancing to do as there was plenty on my plate at the time. I wasn’t necessarily keeping my focus on my spiritual work because of that. Surprisingly, even if my focus wasn’t on developing myself spiritually and connecting with my intuition, this path somehow never left me. It was like the Universe was always supporting me in the path that I was inevitably going to be taking. Somehow through word of mouth, I would constantly find, someone out of the blue would contact me asking for a reading. None of my clients that I worked with at that time knew what I looked like because all my readings were over the phone, and our communication was specifically only for readings. It was fun to read people from all over the world and see how my work was being fueled specifically only by referrals. Of course, this was not a full time thing at all. I must have been doing 2-3 readings every 2-3 months or so. I appreciated that my hobby was allowing me to make some money, but really didn’t think anything else of it. Sometimes I would find that I would be called to study more of a  specific type of spiritual work in a more in depth way for only a period of time before I had to switch my focus since “life” called for it. I found that being called into having a deeper meditation practice was something I was being urged to do through this intuitive gut feeling I was having from time to time, but none of this was ever always consistent. For this reason, I didn’t really think this work would be a major part of my life. However, somehow I would always find myself deeply drawn back to my spiritual path in life.

As 2021 started to wind down, I was getting more and more people that I worked with saying that I needed to get on social media and expand to a wider audience because people needed my work. I had no idea what I was doing and how to get started, but the Universe was being very very loud and clear. It wasn’t something I could ignore anymore  even if I didn’t know what the first step was. January of 2022 was when I started sharing my gifts on social media. By this time I had been living in Los Angeles since July 2020 and felt a bit more comfortable talking about my spiritual practices. I was still scared to show up online because this would mean that I would need to expose myself to the Midwest community I had built, but I did it anyway. I trusted that intuitive feeling inside of me that was urging me to do so. As soon as I did, things felt magical and aligned. Though I had a small community online, it was fun to see clients who I had worked with for years before finally see who I was. I was thrilled and nervous at the same time. This felt good though. It felt like the direction I was being called to all along. 

If I was really going to go all in and make this as big as I could, I decided it would be a helpful decision to get a business coach. Before I knew it, the Universe sent me my coach through Instagram and she was just the person I needed to help me expand into being of service to the world. Before I knew it, it was just one thing after the other that was created and channeled through me. I was offering monthly workshops, working one on one with private clients helping them tap into their own gifts and manifest their own divine lives through my intuitive coaching programs: The Divine Feminine Intuition Container and Embody The Mystical Medium Container, I started meeting magical people who opened my world up and helped me share my gifts, The amount of readings I was doing was booking up my calendar so quickly, I started teaching and lecturing at major events, I released my podcast “Soul Healer”, I hosted international retreats for people to heal and come into awareness with their intuition, and I shared my show “Your Divine Intuition” with the world. 

I feel the most free and the most healed and the most authenticity aligned to who I am more than ever doing this work. I am grateful that I trusted the process and that I flowed with the Universe and its divine timing to help me create the life work I have now. My life has completely transformed for my best and highest good and I am constantly finding myself in so much gratitude!

A reminder that I would like to share with you is, don’t be afraid to share who you are and your passions with the world. It might just be what you’re meant to do on the planet. Treasure your gifts. The world needs them. The world needs you as your most authentic and aligned self being exactly who you are.
